The main idea of my concentration is showing the hidden side of people. This is personal to me because I think everyone has a side to them that is hidden, and you won’t know what they are feeling until It is too late. To show this idea I contrasted facial expressions and background pictures to bring more emotion. Using layering I was able to give the effect of seeing another side to someone. I did this idea because I wanted to explore the idea that a person is more than just a face.

Week 1
This weekend I focused on expressing the feeling of loneliness or happiness in a portrait. I did this by useing a strong light sourse to create shadows.
This a great start to your series. You used a variety of poses, points of view, and close ups vs. full pose. These are going to be strong images to merge with layers since you created strong contrast with the lighting and you used dynamic compositions in your poses. Keep up the good work! On a technical note, the blue font is a little hard to read on the link list of students. Can you choose a lighter blue? Looking forward to your next group of images.
